Week 3 & 4 Labs
Charles Rennie Mackintosh collage ~ I am a huge Mackintosh fan! Last year my friend & I spent a couple of days going around a lot of the sites in Glasgow & surrounds: Hill House in Helensburgh; the House of the Art Lover; Glasgow School of Art & Scotland St School to mention a few. We took lots of pictures & so this will be the basis of my project & website.
I have added some images below so you can see the main elements of my composition. My main image is of a dresser in a room from the House of an Art Lover ~ the thumbnail of this opens in a larger image. I spent a lot of time in Weeks 1 & 2 trying to lighten this image, will little luck, so this week I have added the sunset as a background & set the dresser image opacity to 90%, giving it a rich walnut glow. The rest of the effects are detailed in the note added to the psd file.
